dnata expands partnership with The Hertz Corporation

dnata has chosen to expand its vehicle rental portfolio with the addition of services from Thrifty Car Rentals and Dollar Rent a Car to its offerings.

Both of these brands are owned by The Hertz Corporation, one of the biggest car rental companies in the world.

For eight years now, dnata has served as a General Sales Agent (GSA) for Hertz.

dnata is now promoting and selling the services and products offered by Hertz, Thrifty and Dollar in order to cater to the differing requirements of individual and corporate clients within the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Bahrain.

dnata Air and dnata Representations vice president Alan William says that the company is thrilled to have added two car rental brands with such a strong reputation to its offerings.

William calls it a strategic decision that allows customers to access a wider range of services while driving awareness and sales of the quality products offered by their partners.

The dedicated team at dnata is perfectly situated to expand the three brands’ presence in the region, including in the UAE, and offer outbound travellers a wide array of options relating to car rentals all over the world.

The vice president of inbound sales for Hertz International, Richard Bowden, says that the outbound market in the Middle East is continuing to present the company with excellent opportunities.

The company is delighted to be extending its partnership with dnata with the introduction of Thrifty and Dollar into the portfolio of the GSA, Bowden adds.

Bowden describes dnata as being an experienced operator that manages a large travel distribution network in addition to an extensive regional customer base.

dnata and Hertz both continue to innovate in order to provide customers with a high-quality service and greater convenience.

dnata became the GSA in the UAE for Hertz nearly a decade ago back in 2011.

The partnership has continued to expand since that time and has helped Hertz to drive outbound business and increase product awareness in the Middle East.

The partnership has also brought a whole new level of support and service for the travel trade in the region.

Adding Thrifty and Dollar to the dnata portfolio means that the company can now offer an even wider array of options to customers and partners who want the best value for their money while also getting to enjoy a transparent and easy car rental journey.
