More car brands added to Invygo car subscription app

Invygo, the car subscription app that began operating two years ago in the United Arab Emirates, has signed up to two new partnerships that will bring an entirely new range of vehicles to customers in the country.

Al Tayer Motors has signed with the company, which will see Ford, Maserati, Land Rover and Lincoln models added to the app.

The new partnership with Diamondlease/Al Habtoor Motors, meanwhile, will see the platform now able to offer Mitsubishi cars.

Mitsubishi and Ford joining the range will increase the platform’s available economy vehicles while also adding more luxury cars for the very first time.

The new SUV range enables greater flexibility, allowing users to make choices regarding their driving based on the needs for specific months and be able to upgrade to bigger and more spacious vehicles when necessary.

There is no need for subscribers to make any long-term commitment to any particular vehicle or to have any concerns over maintenance.

A new range of luxury and sports cars is also set to be launched by the app, with customers even able to select the option of driving a Maserati.

Invygo is continuing to try different things to give people in the UAE the best in automotive experiences, says the CEO and co-founder of the company, Eslam Hussein.

The business has been growing at a steady pace in the UAE since operations began in April 2019, offering over 2,600 cars belonging to nine brands to customers, according to Hussein.

With a significant amount of funding having been recently received by the firm, Invygo is now looking to expand into other GCC countries, including the likes of Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

There are a number of other monthly car subscription services available in the UAE besides Invygo.

Carasti is another app-based player that provides customers with a selection of cars somewhat smaller than that offered by Invygo but a bigger price spread, and its vehicles also come with rather more generous limits in terms of mileage.

More traditional options for daily rentals are also offered by the likes of Selfdrive and Ejarcar, while PayPerKay gives UAE customers a service more akin to traditional long-term leases.

These no-commitment services are designed to remove the inconvenience inherent in the buying, selling and maintaining of motor vehicles, which are depreciating assets, and an increasing number of people do not consider ownership worth the time or money.

A monthly payment service means that customers are able to pause, upgrade or cancel their subscription at any time following the initial month.

The app is aimed at attracting new users who want a customer experience that is free of hassle and provides an alternative to traditional motor vehicle leasing or ownership options in the UAE market.

Anyone who drives a motor vehicle in the UAE needs to be covered by at least a basic form of third-party car insurance in order to be in accordance with the nation’s laws.
