Check before you buy
- Third-party cover does not apply to accidents outside the UAE.10
- No damage cover if the driver has no licence for the vehicle, has a suspended licence, or has an expired licence not renewed within 30 days of the accident.10
- No damage cover for accidents while driving under the influence of alcohol, narcotics or drugs that affect control of the car.10
- No damage cover for speed races or tests, or for use other than what you stated on your application, where that caused the accident.10
- Tyre damage is not covered unless the car is damaged at the same time.10
- For a total loss, or repairs over 50% of the car's value, the insured value is reduced by 20% depreciation, and the part of the insurance period already used is taken into account.10

Steps
- Get a police report and check every detail on it is correct.8
- Call the claims department to report the claim. Adamjee says to report any accident or damage to it and the police at once, even if you are not claiming.8
- Wait for a call with your claim reference number and the assigned garage.8
- Take the car to the garage and show the reference number.8
- Give the garage the original police report and copies of the driver's licence and the registration card.8
- After the garage sends its estimate, wait for Adamjee to approve the repair or ask for estimates from other panel garages.8
- The contact page gives claim office hours of 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, and claim survey and intimation from 9am to noon. The FAQ page gives claim intimation from 9am to 5pm and survey from 9am to noon. The home page says the claim team is available round the clock. Check before you travel.7
