Published prices
- The online buy page advertises up to 30% discount and also a 10% discount for buying online. It gives no terms for either.20
Check before you buy
- Comprehensive cover is for cars up to 10 years old, counted from first registration.2
- High value cars and sports cars are insured on referral only.2
- To move from Third Party to comprehensive, the car must be GCC standard and have a Comprehensive Test Certificate, subject to approval.2
- Your car is a total loss when the repair estimate is more than 50% of its insured value.2
- A policy cannot be transferred to a new owner. The insurance and the registration must be in the same name.2
- If you cancel a comprehensive policy with no claims, you get back 80% of the premium in the first month, 70% up to 4 months, 50% up to 6 months and 30% up to 10 months. After 10 months there is no refund.2
- Claim payments by bank transfer go only to the registered owner of the car.2

Steps
- If your policy has rent a car cover, Union sends a request to the rent a car company once the claim is registered, and that company contacts you within two hours.2
- Complaints are closed within 2 to 7 working days, according to its complaints flowchart.22
- If a complaint takes more than 15 working days, or you are unhappy with the final response, Union's complaints page tells you to contact Sanadak.5
