Steps
- Report the accident to the police and get a police report.7
- Call 04-702-8500 or email CustomerCare@alsagrins.ae straight away.7
- Send the documents with your claim notification.7
- Wait for an email with your claim reference number and the garage to use.7
- Take the car to that garage, which writes a repair estimate.7
- If you were not at fault, wait while Al Sagr asks the other insurer for authorisation.7
- When the garage calls, pay any excess, sign the discharge receipt and return any replacement car keys.7
- Repairs start straight away if the cost is under 50% of the vehicle value. One line on the motor claims page says the car may be a total loss if repair costs more than 50% of its value. Another says if repair costs more than the car's value by 50%. Check your policy wording.7
- Repair time depends on how bad the accident was. The garage tells you how long.7

Its June 2026 accounts say it is not in compliance with Central Bank solvency requirements. They report deficits against the minimum capital, solvency capital and minimum guarantee fund requirements.18
