GIG Gulf sells two comprehensive plans, Motor Prestige with dealer repair and Motor Perfect with its approved garages, plus third party cover. A war cover add-on has been available on comprehensive plans since July 2026.

- After the first year, you pay depreciation if you ask for new parts: 5% in the second year, rising to 30% from the sixth.7
- The policy cannot move to a new owner when you sell the car. It must be cancelled.7

Steps
- Call 800 292 if you need roadside help.5
- Call the police on 999, or use the Dubai Police app for a minor accident, and get a police report.5
- Register the claim on the GIG Gulf website, or by phone on 800 292.7
- Wait for the email or SMS naming your workshop or dealer, then drop off the car.5
- If your policy includes a hire car, book it online at least 24 hours ahead.5
- Wait for the repair approval by SMS or email. If another driver is at fault, their insurer must approve first.5
- Pay your excess when you collect the car, if you were at fault.5
- Online claim registration takes 5 minutes, and you get a confirmation with your claim reference number.5
- Questions about a reimbursement payment go to motorclaims.ml@gig-gulf.com with your claim reference number.5
- For a total loss, GIG Gulf aims to settle within 5 working days of receiving the traffic department transfer letter.7
- A car is a total loss if repairs cost more than 50% of its depreciated value.7
